Base editing
Make changes to previously configured bases
Base editing is helpful if you ever need to make edits to a base you've previously configured. For example, if you want to sync new fields or remove a table.
You can access the edit base page using the edit button on your Whalesync base.
Note - syncing must be disabled while making edits to your base.
There are two main base editing pages:
  1. 1.
    Tables - edit table mappings
  2. 2.
    Fields - edit field mappings
On either page, you can add or remove mappings using the dropdown and clicking "Update".
Once you're done making edits, don't forget to turn syncing back on
☺
.
Be careful about deleting a table mapping and then re-adding the same mapping back. Whalesync will treat this as a brand new mapping and sync over records again.
