# Authorize Stripe

To authorize Stripe, you need to generate an API key:

1. In Stripe, go to the [API keys](https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys) section
2. Click "Create secret key"
3. Give the key a name, such as "Whalesync Key"
4. Copy the key into the text box in Whalesync
